And for lunch we go to the Roadrunner Cafe. Here is Dave, Donna, Marge
Pat & Don on the Pontoon. On the other pontoon were Marcel, Doris, Burt,
Elaine, Jim & Bob.

We take off Saturday morning in two pontoons on the Colorado River(called the Parker Strip) and head for the La Paz County Swap/Flea Market. By boat from camp we are about a 20-25 minute run. By road from Parker you travel north on AZ 95 and is about 8 miles. This market takes place every Saturday from the middle of October to the middle of the following April. Here you can buy leather belts, purchase reverse osmossis systems. gadgets for the fisherman, items for the kitchen, tools for the handyman, signal finders & telephone signal antennae and other assorted items of every colour and description. A good meeting place for everyone to socialize and to find that special item we all need, want or dream about. We also found a dash mat to put in the car, to cut down on the sun beating on the dash. Reasonable price too!! After cruising around the market we get back on the pontoons and head for the Roadrunner Cafe. This is a tradition now. At the cafe we can either have breakfast or lunch. I had breakfast, chicken fried steak smothered in country sausage gravy, two fried eggs, toast, hashbrowns and coffee. Marge had chicken strips, hold the fries. Once we had all consummed our meal we get back on the pontoons and leisurely cruise back to the camp where we all have our units. This is living and we are having fun!! We left camp shortly after 9 am and returned around 1:30 pm.

Temperature today is a nice 82 degrees Fahrenheit
