On Saturday we were up and gone out of the motorhome by 7:20 am. From here we drove the 130 miles to meet with friends staying at Emerald Cove RV Resort in Earp, CA. It was an easy drive and the weather was perfect. Upon arrival a couple of hours later we greeted our friends with hugs, kisses & a hearty handshake. Once we had said our hellos we were off for breakfast. Alf said he would drive their truck as it would comfortably hold the six of us.
We had been to the Cross Roads Cafe in Parker several times & knew the food would be accepted by all. While there it was agreed that we next go to the La Paz County Park for the swap meet that is held there each Saturday throughout the winter season.

The Garlic Man
There was a pipe extending out and so we took advantage of it!!
After the swap meet and several purchases later we were once again on our continued road trip. Next stop ... The Desert Bar. We travel a couple of miles north of Parker on Hwy 95. We then turn on Cienaga Springs Road. You now are on a gravel road. You travel on this road for about 5miles, arriving finally at the Desert Bar.

We were there for a few hours. When we knew that our time had come, it was time to return back to the RV park. For further info on The Desert Bar follow this link.

After our return to the park, we have to sadly say our goodbyes. What fun and laughs we had. We drive back to Wellton arriving around 7 pm.
